Raymond Terrell Scott, Jr. passed away peacefully from this life the morning of August 20 after a gradual decline in health. Terrell was born in Waco, Tx on July 28, 1953, to Raymond Terrell Scott and Susie Marie Simonton Scott.
Terrell was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Marie Scott and a brother Bobby Pryor. He is survived by his daughter Stephanie Marie Scott and granddaughter Peyton; son Raymond Terrell Scott III and granddaughter Hanna; son Jim Bob Scott and granddaughter Bella; a brother Joe Scott and wife Tina; a brother Harry Pryor and wife Marsha and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Terrell was a 1971 graduate of Seagoville High School. Terrell truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, buy sell trading and spreading the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ. He had a ministry called the Three Old Rusty Rails.
Terrell had an ability to reach people in a deep and positive way, showing his love for the Lord. Terrell was always wanting to tell people about how good God had been to him.
Family and Friends and others whose lives Terrell touched are invited to the Victory Church at 10:00 a.m. on September 4 in Scurry at State Highway 34.
