SEAGOVILLE – The Seagoville City Council will have a Regular Meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 19, inside the City Council Chambers at City Hall located at 702 N. Highway 175.

The City Council consists of Mayor Dennis K. Childress and Council Members Rick Howard, JoJo Hernandez, Harold Magill, Mike Fruin, and Jon Epps.

Citizens Public Comment Period:

This portion of the meeting is to allow each speaker up to six (6) minutes to address the council on items not posted on the current agenda. Council may not discuss these items but may respond with factual data or policy information, or place the item on a future agenda. Citizens wishing to speak on posted agenda items will be called upon at that time. Anyone wishing to speak shall submit a Speaker Request Form to the City Secretary.

Items on Monday’s City Council Agenda include:

• Consider approving a Resolution of the City of Seagoville authorizing the City Manager to execute an Interlocal Agreement with the North Central Texas Emergency Communications District for regional 9-1-1 service.

• Consider an Ordinance of the City of Seagoville, Texas, authorizing and approving an amendment to Ordinance 14-2020, which adopted the Operating Budget for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2020 and ending September 30, 2021, by appropriating $24,900.00 from the General Fund Finance Budget consulting fees to be transferred to Personnel Costs to provide for the creation and funding of a new full-time Senior Accountant position, including wages/salary, FICA, insurance, and TMRS.

• Consider approving a Resolution authorizing the acquisition of sanitary sewer and temporary construction easements necessary for the Northern Basin Interceptor Project.
